so here... its 1am. I'm dumb i should sleep
as I have to be awake at 4:10 in the morning.
I just got home from Showbox at the Market
BTBAM, Black dhalia murder, children of bodom.
so much talent in one night. Amazing people all of them.
The boys from Fall of Troy were among guests in the crowd.
Not sold out but damn near it. A good night all in all
but now i have to sleep for minimal hours and
then i wake for work. lovely. I will hate things
pretty soon, then red bull will save my sweet life
and i will proceed, fuck, that shit suks. oh well!
I love life and that's for real bitches! peace

The Toadies

"Feel that weight, feel that weight pushing down..."

The Toadies ruled last night. They played the Showbox at the Market. It was better than I had expected. They rocked, they played all the sick ass jams...

They're sound was so amazing and tight and clear. I noticed orange amplifiers and an old marshall. Vaden Todd Lewis played a 61' reissue same one as mine throughout the show. Sounded awesome! Had to be one of the top shows of the year. The opening bands sucked. I have to give the supporting band, 'The Blakes' credit for being ultimately sucky. The Blakes are fucking horrible. The other band was better than the blakes but a lil too southern rocky for my likings.

I'm constantly asking myself what day it is.

At times when I'm driving, even in the morning on the way to work, I will arrive at a familiar intersection an wonder where the hell I'm going. Then it hits me.

ehhwgh... so many different people are driving on the road at all times. Transportation ruined everything. There's no excuse anymore.

It feels like summer is over, I miss it already.

I just took a month off from working. Unintentionally, of course. But it worked out for the better, I believe. I sat at home and worked on songs. I jammed with Balthor a lot (our Polish drummer) who just flew back to Poland today. He's waiting for us to play shows with him in Europe. [Fa sho!] So anyway, there are lots of new SwordFight songs and we will have new demos about to come out. Here are some new song titles to look out for: ''Zoologist'', ''Elements'' , "Fortiator", "Things get Mushy", and "LaborForcesSeaOtters". Oh they are all so neat! And oh so fresh and new! I'm excited about thems. Peace out Balthor, I'm gonna miss you. (ice cookie chip - I can smell it!) I had mass fun this past mumff, and I hate having to go back to work, but whatever.
