The Toadies ruled last night. They played the Showbox at the Market. It was better than I had expected. They rocked, they played all the sick ass jams...

-paper dress
-i come from the water
-push it
...and so many others.

They're sound was so amazing and tight and clear. I noticed orange amplifiers and an old marshall. Vaden Todd Lewis played a 61' reissue same one as mine throughout the show. Sounded awesome! Had to be one of the top shows of the year. The opening bands sucked. I have to give the supporting band, 'The Blakes' credit for being ultimately sucky. The Blakes are fucking horrible. The other band was better than the blakes but a lil too southern rocky for my likings.
